I have already posted about this on nurseries section but thought I try locally too...

Does anyone have recommendations for nurseries around E1 area? I have Green Gables and St Pauls in Dock Street on my short list but would love some personal recommendations. My DD needs a full time place in April when she will be 9 months.

Kestral - I am in the same situation. I would like to know what your experience has been. I am planning to go back to work in Jan by which time my son will be 9 months. I have seen Green Gables and whilst the outside space is great I am not too sure about the indoors facilities. Also 6 pm is too early for me. I am due to go to St Paul's on Friday. It would be useful to hear from you!

I know people who've been happy with Dock St.
My personal recommendation is:

my son was at the Dreammaker nursery, and is a good one, they are very friendly, took a good care of my son for over a year, and also are in a very good location next to stations .

My son is at DreamMaker nursery on Cartwright Street and they are really nice. There is some outside space as well which I found quite rare for nurseries in the surrounding area. Staff are lovely and I never worry about leaving him there when I am off to work. I would really recommend them if you the location works for you.

Strongly recommend Westfield Nursery at Queen Mary and Westfield College. Get on the waiting list as early as you can. Have been using it for 4 years and it is a safe and happy environment for the children.

Hi ila18,

I personally don't know this nursery. I've just found the following reviews of some parents. I hope they can give you more idea about it:

And here is the results of the last Ofsted inspection (18.12.2012). Have a look please:
