I have two girls (one 4 months and one 2.5) and would love some advice on local classes/groups, especially swimming for the little one. We only moved 3 weeks ago so all a bit new and daunting!

Just for starters, I go to Rugrats in Banbury, which is brilliant, and Bumblebees in Brackley.

Musical Minis is a nice music group for little ones, and does different classes in and around Banbury, but I can't find the contact details at the moment (but will have more of a hunt if you want them!)

They both look great - thank you. We will give them both a go. I will have a look and see if I can find a number for musical minis.

I've found the contact details for Musical Minis - the local contact is Helen Freeman, 01295 - 701416. She does groups locally throughout the week, including Banbury and Brackley. (I checked that it was OK to put her phone number here before I posted it!)

Details of Musical Mini groups are here.

welcome twinkly! think we may get some confusion with our names

theres a soft play, climbing frames , trikes etc thing at the leisure centre on pavillions way in brackley. definately meets on a tuesday morning.

same sort of thing happens at spiceball park and is called baby bounce.

I've also been told that Whizz Kids (Bridge Street, BAnbury) is a good place to meet mums on a thursday morning.

  • TP our little boy arrived 4 weeks early, had a week in scbu and is now home. will introduce you when we back on the toddler group circuit

Congratulations on your new arrival and thank you so much for the advice. Will give them all a try. Starting to feel a bit cabine feverish here with the two girls and lack of adult conversation!
