Hi I have a 14 week old baby. Have kind of locked myself away since the birth. Baby blues kicked in big time. But I have been told to get myself out there and meet some other mums! So, this is my attempt....Am wondering if anyone in Ealing, Acton or Chiswick would be interested in starting a weekly meet-up. Compare notes...have a laugh...have a moan...that sort of thing. If anyone knows of any existing groups, would love to know!

I would enjoy meeting up to start a little group. My baby was ill at birth and I was never able to go to NCT groups etc so missed out of the making baby friends in the early days.
My son is 15 months now and I have met baby friends through the activities we do but do miss the kind of link you would have to other mums in the early days.

Great that you are up to getting yurself out and about!

Hi Helen.
Thanks so much for your message. I'm wondering whether we should wait a week to see if we have any other interested mums. What do you think? I'm located in West Acton and thought about perhaps meeting up in Ealing Broadway. Walpole park is close by so your little one could have a little run around (weather permitting). Perhaps we could do one afternoon next week? I'm off to the states the following week to see my mum...can't wait, she hasn't met the little guy yet!

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi
Im in East Acton, Walpole Park is good for me and has a nice play area, or maybe even Acton Park if it is handier for you location wise (any any other mums?). Its got a nice little cafe.

lets see if anyone else wants to join us...

Hi,
I've just seen this thread and would be interested in meeting up too if its not too late.
Our daughter is 4 months old but was born 15 weeks early, so she is just like a new born now. She was in hospital for 3 months and has only been home 3 weeks so far.
Would love to meet up for coffee and Ealing Broadway would be handy as I live in Greenford.
Let me know.
Michelle

Hi Ladies,

Heard of Ealing 135? It's a local charity/group & a great way to meet mums - it has a first time mum's group, working mum's group and many, many more activities going on etc. Check out: www.ealing135.org.uk
