Hi
Can anyone reccomend a nice friendly playgroup in the area?

I went to one recently and everyone seemed to be in little groups and not interested in chatting to a new face - it was a bit of a lonley experience

Any reccomendations would be great

Thanks
Helen

Hi,

I havent been to a playgroup yet, but I'm planning to try an NCT group (Holy Innocents church, Paddenswick Rd, opposite Ravenscourt park) on Wednesday - I think its 2.15 - 4pm weds.

I hope that isnt the unfriendly one?!

I go to that group and it's not bad, however I have just found one on Thursday monrnings - it's at St Simon's church and is amazing. About 60 children from babies to pre school age - different play areas (baby area really good) and everyone was really friendly. They do singing and a story at the end. it's 9.30 to 11am free with real coffee, tea and homemade cakes!

It's not on next week the next one is 5th June

Hi, I'm really late joining this thread but just wanted to let you know about the play groups at the children's centre on Brook Green W14. Not sure where you live or if you have been to the Brook Green centre already but I have found it to be great. There's a full programme of activities and it is all free ... amazing! I don't live far from the St Simon's one but still haven't been - my baby tends to sleep at 9.30am so have never made it! What was it like?
