The Flagship School - a new school for children with special needs

Hi there,

I wanted to let any local mums know about a new school opening in Hastings next year for children with Special Educational Needs.

The Flagship School will be opening in September 2021, as a new state funded free school academy in Hastings. This special school will cater for children who have the capacity to reach age related expectations, yet whose neurodiverse profiles, along with additional social, emotional and mental health needs, create significant barriers to learning. It will open as a brand new purpose-built special school on the site of the former Helenswood Upper School, on the Ridge.
