participate in volunteering experiment and claim £15 Amazon voucher(1 Post)
We are looking for pregnant participants/ volunteers over 18 years old, to test a belt for foetus movement counting, based on optical fibre sensors.
Who: Low risk pregnant mothers aged more than 18, of gestational weeks between 20 and 41;
Where: Engineering laboratory 004, Clifton campus, Nottingham Trent University (NTU) ;
When: Date can be arranged according to the volunteer’s convenience;
Notes: The ethics for the test has been approved by the ethics committee of NTU and the test is totally safe for the volunteer and the fetus. The test lasts a maximum of 40 minutes which include 10 minutes for preparation (e.g. wearing the belt), 10 minutes for measurement followed by a rest of 10 minutes, and then another 10 minutes of a repeating measurement;
Acknowledgment: As thanks after the test the participant will be given a £15 Amazon voucher + travel costs compensation of maximum £20 (in the presence of travel cost evidence).
