Hi I have a fab Mum who is 68 years old. She looks after my ds two afternoons a week. She picks him up from nursery at 1pm and they go wandering around Kingston often shopping until Tea time around 4.30pm. They seem to enjoy this but it means he doesn't play with or make any new friends. Can anyone recommed an activity or toddler group that welcomes grannys. She went to the Library once on Monday morning (because I had to go into work) and said she felt out of place. (Odd because I go and see two or three grans) The other reason I don't want Ds spending all the time shopping as he has to go shopping with me & dad. I'm I being silly

you posted this such a long time ago, probably not interested now - but I think your DS is so lucky to have some one to one time with Granny. I also see lots of Grannies and GDDs at the library, but that bit of time just with one adult, talking about what she sees: colours, people, shapes will give DH a fantastic start in life.
