Choosing which hospital?

Just been to doctor this morning and was surprised that they don't do a pregnancy test if you have already done one yourself! Anyway I was offered a choice of hospitals the closest being Kingston which we chose. Does anyone have any comments or feedback on Kingston??? Is it any good?

I have heard St Georges is very good but I think it's a bit far from us....

Kingston was very good but if you have any problems with breast feeding don't leave hospital until you've seen the breast feeding nurse and you and the baby get the hang of it. The pre care and birth were great.Baby and me were fine except the breast feeding. I was a little confused about when we should leave the hospital (a bit of a boring story) and we left hospital two night later. They were very very busy and I think as we were health we got lost in the crowd. When we got home he didn't latch on, the midwives tried, NCT lady wasn't helpful basically 2-3 weeks later and I had to give up as he was losing too much weight I knew about the fact that the charts were wrong but that didn't help as I was in such a state. I then found got if I stayed in hospital I would have had more help. Apart from that it they were very good (Also if things are going to plan during pregnancy there were totally on the ball.

I had a fabulous experience at Kingston. I had my first 2 privately overseas, so was a bit anxious about nhs, but honestly, it was great - midwife care in the delivery room better actually. It was jam packed the first night, but still they couldn't do enough.
