Any Plymouth mums on maternity leave looking for mummy friends?

Currently on month 8 of maternity leave, so still some way to go and would like to find some mummy friends with children of a similar age, for coffee and playdates on.maternity leave and friendship and mutual support going forward.

I get out to groups and have been surprised that this has not naturally led to friendships. I think lots of local people have really established friendship groups and are not at baby groups to make friends...or maybe there is an element of luck in meeting like minded people.

Anyone local interested in a meet up? Or even just want to commiserate on here about your lack of success with local baby groups?

Also, maybe a local thing or maybe not...none of the venues for my baby groups have anywhere to go for coffee nearby. Sometimes I wonder if that would make it a bit more natural to suggest going for coffee afterwards.
