Start using Mumsnet PremiumAdaptation to New Country with a baby
(3 Posts)Hello everyone,
l am new in Chislehurst even in UK. We've just moved here from Turkey . and I have a little boy (10 months). Adaptation to a new country especially with a baby is pretty hard.! feels lonely at times
Also my english is not so good l need a practice l think. l'd like to meet other moms in my area and find more groups to go in order to adapt easily .Are there any moms who want to meet us and suggest groups to join or activities to do with my little boy?
Thanks in advance
stay with love

churches often do mum and baby groups ask at what ever church you feel like if they have any mum baby groups.
library's sometimes do baby reading groups
ask at your doctors surgery for info on the local health workers you would like to ask them about groups and services for mums like yourself
look up local indoor play parks great place for children to meet
i also found this online near you it may help you find other mums to talk to its a cafe with a play park
www.oakley.coffee/soft-play-area-children/
Thank you very much l'll do that
