Kids clubs and things to do!!

Hi everyone

We currently live in Sydenham and are looking to move to Chistlehurst for senior grammar schools and are looking to find out what types of clubs exist and if it's easy for kids/adults to make friends.

We have a 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son. We have driven around the area on a Saturday and Sunday and it never seems to be that busy (we may have chosen bad rainy days!!) so wondering what life is like in chistlehurst. Do people hang out in the village or go to near by areas ? If so where? Is it safe to walk around for teenagers? Where do current teenagers go to hang out etc

Any help would be appreciated.
