Can you help if you are familiar with this group of towns. Moving from London and have looked at houses in all of the above.

Obv Weybridge pricier and Addlestone sig cheaper because of rail links less direct?

Our main concern is actually schools - I’ve done all the research but a little local knowledge of Addlestone, Hersham and New Haw( which are less obvious through a visit. )Spent a little time in all places but again- local experience of schools and the towns is what I’d love. Obv Weybridge is nice, as is West Byfleet.

Jubilee school any good? Is Addlestone town not so great? Regeneration good or not so great? Crime? Good for kids? Or avoid?

Primary schools?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm not very familiar with them although I'm not too far away, but I feel like more people should know that the action in War of the Worlds is centred around these places. Maybe your children will enjoy reading it if you do move.

Sorry for completely unhelpful post. Came on to ask about school and got a random book recommendation instead!

Addlestone is up and coming. Just got a lovely new cinema. Don't know about schools. Weybridge has excellent schools but very expensive houses because of it.

Walton and hersham have good primaries. Three Rivers is the secondary. Excellent facilities and just got a good OFSTED. More mixed intake than Heathside in Weybridge. Heathside are supposed to be opening a new secondary in Walton in a couple of years as well.

Have you considered Shepperton or Chertsey ?

Yes!

We are hopefully about to exchange on a house in Hersham- near the green and 15 mins walk to Walton station. Great schools particularly primary. Chose to avoid Addlestone- found an amazing house but not too nice an area and no guarantees with schools.

Good Luck.
