Moving to chester

Hi, me and my family are looking to move from Birmingham within the next two years and were wondering about Chester.we dont have a massive budget max around 190k for a house, which i know isn’t a lot.i would like to know what areas are ok and have decent local facilities as i myself dont drive.i have heard that blacon is to be avoided, but what are other areas like? Any help would be much appreciated.xx
