Moving from London to Clevedon

Hi all,
We are looking to relocate from South East London to Clevedon with our two little girls.
We love the fact it’s by the coast, has an actual high street and beautiful slightly affordable period houses. I suppose what I’m asking is what’s the catch? Is it actually commutable daily from Bristol? Good schools? Is it family friendly? Does it have a community vibe? Appreciate any advice you could possibly give. Many thanks in advance!
