Do you live in the Trumpington new builds, south of Long Road?

I took a look at the new build flats just south of Long Road on Sunday.

Apparently most of them have been snapped up, with some of them being bought up over two years ago.

I took a look at a few of them, and whilst they have nice interiors etcetera they're a little tight for space, specially if you've got kids who like to run around.

Was wondering if there are any of the mumsnet users have experience of living in them?

Be interested to know:

What is the build quality like? (all seems nice enough to the untrained eye)

Do you hear much noise form the neighbours?

Is there much of a problem with parking - it seems like everyone gets their own carport/garage but I was wondering whether it was difficult to find a space for visitors?

Is there much disturbance from builders (who are still at work in certain parts)

Have you had any unforeseen problems/snags?

What do you reckon the light in these places? They seem to be a bit dark inside, especially on the ground floor?

Is there enough storage space for your bits and bobs?

Currently looking around Cambridge, good luck with your search.

My friend's daughter had quite a lot of snagging at her 2 bed house there. They had a flood and all the floors downstairs had to be replaced. It's in a cul de sac and she got extra outside lighting fitted and a HIVE security because the street felt a bit dark.

Catchment primary is good and the secondary is part of Parkside Federation.

Not much in the way of shops and services
