Services in Thornbury and surrounding

Hello,

I am preparing a research paper into the effects on local people and services in areas with high levels of housing development. I would be really interested to hear from anyone who lives in Thornbury, where there has been a huge increase in housing numbers, to understand if you feel that the local amenities are able to cope with this increase in residents or if you feel that due to this increase services and facilities are now over capacity? Are there any services that you feel could be in place that currently are not?

As a very basic example, before the increase in housing, did you find it easy to get a weekly cleaner but now due to increase this is much harder?
