Insight on London people moving to Sheffield

Hi everyone, we are on the verge of relocating away from London to Sheffield, where my wife is from. We obviously know and love the area, know about schools etc, and we have a big lovely family there. But the big unknown for us is what it will be like for us as people (and the kids 10,7) to move from the London social and cultural "vibe" to the Sheffield one, having been in London for 25 years.

Has anyone made this move recently? What have you found it like from a cultural, social etc perspective?
