Next Saturday why not come along to St Mary's Church in Maiden Newton, near Dorchester and get cycling?!
We have 2 routes, a picturesque 30 mile ride to Sutton Bingham Reservior and back. Plus the 4 Churches Cycle Ride which is just 6 miles and has a treasure hunt theme to.

9 Churches Cycle Ride

Saturday 16th June 2018
Starting from St Mary’s Church and following a circular fully signposted route around some of Dorset’s most beautiful countryside. The route will take you around at least 9 historic Churches within the Melbury Church Team and all the way up to Sutton Bingham Reservoir and cover approx. 30 miles.
The ride will start at 10am and car parking is available at the Walkers Car park on Chilfrome Lane (just up from the school)
Entry fee is £7 per person.
Refreshments including homemade cakes etc. will be available to buy in St Mary’s Church at the end of the ride.
All proceeds of this great day out will go to the upkeep of St Mary’s Church and famine relief in South Sudan

4 Churches Cycle Ride
Same date and idea, just a bit shorter!
Starting at 11am and following a signposted circular route to also include a treasure trail this an ideal family ride for those with younger children. Each child will have a ‘treasure trail’ to complete and must look for clues in each of the Churches.
Family entry of £10 and again refreshments after at St Mary’s.

All participants will get a finishers certificate.
