Hi, we are thinking of applying for this school, we want co-ed as we have boys and girls. I’ve heard great things from people with their kids in the school but bad things from parents without kids in the school.
How do you find support? Our child is bright and we want them to be pushed. How are the facilities? Are they up to scratch in your experimce. What about teacher parent communication? Has your child sat gcse or a-level there? how did they find it and how was the support. Happy to hear any opinion. Thanks.

Hi. My opinion is based as someone who drives on the A21 past the cross roads where pupils congregate on the way home. Often witness pupils fighting, pushing in the road etc which puts me off.

I don't have a child at the school but when we visited it i really liked it. We put it down as second choice but was luckily to be offered our first choice. I think the school from what ive heard is positive. The school has very mixed reviews but nothing bad to put you off.

The only thing that i don't like is the congested traffic outside the school. A nightmare at peak hours. Not sure about the above comment i have never witnessed that however that doesn't mean it isn't true. The whole kids pushing playfully happens at most schools.

Have a look at eden park high. They are under the same umbrella as ravensbourne and i think they are still on site temporarily

No sorry - it's a shocking school. The past head Murphy fiddled the books and was dodgy. They can't retain staff and it's very unfriendly... Shocking treatment of teachers over the years - run for the hills
