Hello, we currently live in Portishead but are looking to move back to Bristol in about 18minths time. We love the look of Southville but we now have a daughter who will be 4 years old when we move and I don't know how family friendly / young child friendly Southville is. Portishead is very family friendly so want to be sure we are not completely losing that element of our life. Any advice / information from people with young children in Southville would be much appreciated. Also is parking as bad as it looks?? Thanks very much in advance

Hi there! Southville and BS3 in general is a very child friendly area. I'd even go as far to say as it's the most child friendly area in Bristol. We moved to BS3 for this very reason. Lots of people come to the area to join in child related activities. I would suggest you join the mums and dads BS3 Facebook group and also have a look on the Hoop app for activities (to get a feel). It's a lovely area! X
