Join us for our annual 19th century-inspired paper crafts festival on early May Bank Holiday. See demonstrations by contemporary makers, make marbled wrapping paper and paper cone baskets, enjoy folk music, watch Morris dancing and take part in May Pole dancing.

Paper Marbling
Make beautiful sheets of marbled paper, a form of paper decoration favoured by the Victorians.

Paper Cone Baskets
Create a traditional springtime gift basket decorated with collaged papers and ribbon.

Morris Dancing
Enjoy performances of this traditional folk dance by the Pilgrim Morris Men.

Folk Music
Enjoy folksy tunes from The Catteshall Band.

May Pole Dancing
Join in a dance around the May Pole to celebrate the spring season.
