Hello All,

Are there any parents here that send their children to Tudor Grange Academy in Worcester? I am trying to gauge opinion beyond that of Ofsted/ official school review sites etc - My Daughter would be joining the Year 7 intake in September .

Is the school good? Any problems - Any info would be gratefully received as I dont know anyone with secondary age children in the City. The stats are better for Nunnery wood & Christopher Whitehead but both over subscribed (probably due to Bishop P being in special measures) - Any thoughts about Worcester secondary particularly Tudor G! Help!

I have 2 children currently at Tudor Grange in Worcester, in Years 7 and 11, and both absolutely love it. Have had literally no problems at all. Yes the results aren’t as good at the moment as Nunnery/Christopher Whitehead but they are improving year on year, and there is a really positive vibe at the school. Be warned though, because of its up and coming reputation, it is also oversubscribed. There’s building going on there at the moment to accommodate an extra 30 children in September. It really depends how close you are, but worth applying.

My DH is a teacher at Christopher Whiteheads so I mainly know about that (its an excellent school) and could answer questions about them.

Tudor Grange had a slightly bad reputation before but it has turned itself around.

I suppose it depends on which area you live in.

If you are looking at Nunnery Wood - what about Blessed Edwards
