Moving to Durham

Dear Mums
I am returning to live in Durham this year after living in Aust for 30 years. Aust is just not the place for me.

I would dearly like your suggestions for suitable places to live - house - (I will be buying) that have access to Durham Johnston school for my DD.

In fact any advice you can offer on this huge relocation would be very welcome, e.g. access to benefits until I find a job, buying property, how to register DD at school, getting work, places to meet people.
