February Half-Term Kids activities @Two Temple Place!

Come down to Two Temple Place this February Half Term for free children's arts and crafts activities as part of our new exhibition 'Rhythm &Reaction: The Age of Jazz in Britain' (27 January - 22 April)

Saturday 10th February
Walk. Talk. Do - 11am - 12:30pm, £3 per child
From pianos without players to a drum kit that lays eggs – join a family tour to think, talk, draw, play and explore the secrets of exhibition.

Sunday 11th February
Jazz for Juniors - 10:30am - 11:15am, £5 per child
With live jazz accompaniment this fun interactive workshop blends jazz standards, original tunes and nursery rhymes to the delight of juniors, parents and grandparents (16 months to 5 years).

Monday 12th February
Jazz Musician Puppets - 10am - 12pm, FREE
Jazz performers had to play the part and look smart on stage. Create your own dancing, moving, saxophone playing Jazz Musician Puppet!

Wednesday 14th February
Creation Station - 10am - 12pm, FREE
Drop-in to our creation station today for some creative jazz activities

Thursday 15th February
Make your own Banjo! - 10am - 12pm, FREE
Early Jazz musicians often played banjos instead of guitars; tap into your inner musician and create your own paper Banjo to strum jazz sounds with!

Friday 16th February
Family workshop: Drawn to Jazz - 2pm - 4pm, £5 per child
Introducing younger ears to the world of jazz and illustration. This family workshop explores the art of drawing to jazz – illustrating music and movement, call and response image making and fun ideas for adults to take away and draw with.
