Relocationg to Exeter from abroad

Hi ladies, I'm hoping for some advice regarding schools and areas where to live near Exeter. We will be relocationg next year and therefore have been reading all the relevant posts that I thought may give me some insight, however I am now really confused and really none the wiser. About 20 years ago I lived in exwick but this was pre children and we now have 2 boys age 9 and 10. I will be working near MarshBarton area and love the rural and beach. I don't really want to be driving more than about 20 mins to work. Any ideas? Which are the best school I could choose. My youngest would be in his last year at primary and my eldest 1st year secondary school.Any advice much appreciated.

I may be too late in responding as only just seen your message, but have you considered St Wilfrid's? It's a really tiny, very supportive independent school. My son is really happy there.
