Hi mums!

At Muscular Dystrophy UK we are busy planning our third annual Go Orange campaign! Go Orange is the brightest, orangest day of the year - Friday 2nd February.

We'd really love it if your children's school, nursery or group could get involved and put on an orange tutu, wig, jumper or anything to show their support for people living with muscular dystrophy.

At the moment there are 70,000 people in the UK living with muscular dystrophy. The most common being a type called Duchenne which causes children to often need a wheelchair by their teenage years gives them a very low life expectancy.

We know we can beat muscle-wasting conditions more quickly if we work together. We are uniting skills, knowledge and resources in the UK and working with others around the world so we can improve the quality of life for the people affected, and to bring cures closer to reality.

We'd be soooo grateful if you could let your children's school or groups know about Go Orange! We've got lots of resources and lesson plans they can use to help educate children about the condition and living with a disability too. Find out more by searching Muscular Dystrophy UK Go Orange.
