International Youth Arts Festival New Designer Competition

Kingston’s International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF) has launched a competition to find a new designer for its 2018 event.

The festival will be celebrating it’s tenth year in 2018, and the winning designs will feature on promotional material seen by hundreds of thousands of people. The young person selected will receive a prize of £500, and mentoring from a professional designer.

Entrants must be between 16 and 26 years old, and must be able spend some time either remotely or in person, liaising with a professional designer to develop their work in preparation for the festival programme launch in early February.
The deadline for entries is Friday 5th January 2018.

The competition is a fantastic opportunity to work on a live design brief. The competition is free to enter and entrants can submit more than one design concept.
