Pyrford/West Byfleet - Advice Please!

We are moving to Pyrford (just near West Byfleet) imminently and we will need to register with a NHS Doctor - if anyone has any recommendations for a good one, please let me know. I would also been keen for any recommendations for domestic cleaners and nurseries for babies/toddlers.

Any advice about the area (things to do/see with a young family) would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance!

Congratulations Pyrford is a really lovely place and the school is excellent! The doctors are all at West Byfleet Health Centre and there are three practices there. All seem good but they also list GP special interests on their websites in case you have a specific need.

For baby and toddler groups there's Tots Praise at the Church of the Good Shepherd (songs, toys and coffee and cake, free). There's also a Thursday morning playgroup at the Arbor Centre and on Fridays a playgroup at the Sure Start centre at the school.

Squirrels nursery at the school seems very popular but I think only takes age 2/3 upwards and is term time only. Round and Round the Garden is a private day nursery with a great reputation but I think has a waiting list, best to check.

Congratulations on your move!

Welcome to the area. The doctors is West Byfleet Health Centre. You will get allocated a practice according to who is taking on new patients when you apply to join.
There are lots of playgroups in Pyrford, West Byfleet and Byfleet. Pick up a families magazine or similar and it will list loads for you.

Thank you both so much! Really looking forward to settling in and making the area our home. We don't plan to move for a while!

We've looked at Round the Gardens and really like it (love the idea of the kids being outside so much!).
