Toddler Party Venues

Can anybody recommend a venue for a 2 year old's Birthday party?

I've looked at soft play at one of the leisure centre's but it cost's about £300 and that seems daft for a 2 year old.

You could hire a church hall and get an entertainer for much less than that. We've used this guy before, he's very good.

A church hall is around 30/hour. You could hire an entertainer and do food yourself. But I somehow doubt you will be coming up cheaper unless you just place lots of toys on the floor and maybe hire some softplay equipment/mini bouncy castle.

At 2 they are not that interested in planned games, even pass the parcel overwhelms them normally. If you really want to throw a proper party softplay is often the best option.

We just did a picnic style party, brought balls, dolls/prams, happyland toys and let them loose while parents sat and watched and drank tea.

Second vote for Jolly Dinosaurs, we used church halls that had small children sized tables and chairs, it also had a lounge next door that was useful for Parents who wanted to stay nearby but not be on top of the party. We got loads of blow up guitars to make it extra fun and part of their party bag to take away. The church is in Petts Wood, if of any interest let me know and I can send you contact details for hall hire but there are probably lots of similar ones if that location doesn’t work for you.
