Hi all. Not about kids but...
I am looking for fabric shops that sell knitted jersey. So far I have found Remnant King but they didn't have what I was looking for. Could you share your favourite shops around Glasgow?
I am looking for a fabric for kids clothes but it has to be jersey.. Smile

I don't sew, but have you tried John Lewis? I don't know if Mandors is still in Cambridge St too

Mandors is still there, and there are 2 Remnant Kings just in case you've only tried the Argyle St branch and not Howard St (there are actually 3 but the 3rd is curtain fabric)

The best place is the Cotton Print Factory off Seaward Street

Mandors is very dear and sometimes the staff are a bit off imo.

The new Remnant Kings behind the Cathedral is beautiful but mostly curtain stuff.

Don't know about physical shops but Girl Charlee online does lovely jersey fabrics. Great quality.

The staff in mandors can be very rude. There's also fabric bazaar by the barras. It's very very cheap and a bit of a random assortment but I've had some bargains over the years.

There is a little fabric shop down shawlands way - coulsonhom Road just off Kilmarnock road. The woman that owns it is very nice and very helpful but not too much jersey fabric I'm afraid.

For nice printed jersey try Tiny Vikings you can collect your fabric order in person from the West End where they are based. Not the cheapest but they do have some lovely prints and I think a lot of it is organic cotton.

If you are ever through Edinburgh way Kitschy Coo is another great shop for jersey fabric.
