Teddington - anyone considering selling a house?

Hi all

Just thought I put a note here that we are looking to buy in Teddington. If you are considering selling your house would you PM me? as I don't expect many replies I am not adding what sort of house we are looking for but over 1500sqm.

If you have some insight to the best roads - better in catchment area for primary schools but not must (DS will start primary a year after we move) - it would be great as well. where do most of young families live and anywhere we should avoid? Commuting to London so good proximity to the Teddington station is must too.

Thanks

What budget?
Also depending where you are Hampton Wick station (Teddington river roads) Strawberry hill station (Shakelgate Lane area) or Fulwell (Royal area) maybe closer. There is an alley front Strawberry hill to corner Shakelgate lane. This would be close to Newland house.
If you definitely want the option of Collision you need to look at the admissions maps This is 2015 www.richmond.gov.uk/media/3088/collis_places_2015.pdf
A lot are from the river roads. Nice area. Mostly Victorian terraces with newer infills in places.
The other non religious primary is Stanley

Of course if you go for Newland you can move anywhere.
The area around the school is nice and depending where you are you could use Strawberry hill or Teddington.
Young families are everywhere.
Finding a place with off street parking is a bonus!
Period properties tend to command a premium where as places such as this are more reasonable and in a nice area

thank you Mary 21 . very helpful comments . we are aware of the catchment areas but considering Newland. still if it is in catchment area of one of these schools it would be an ease of mind just in case we change our mind in 2 years' time. however, we are not looking to pay a premium to be by the school to secure a place .

the zoopla example is great but we are considering double the size in terms of sqm so you can guess the budget . I heard that people spread the word if someone is looking to sell. there arent many houses on the market so checking it here .

I am not convinced this is going to be effective for you, OP. However, I will say that we are buying/selling at the moment and I can't recommend either Snellers or Dexters, although they have a great deal of the market around here.
