Our friends at Smooth Radio and Robin Hood Energy are bringing you the Smooth Cinema, Nottingham's biggest ever drive-in movie festival - and you have the chance to win yourself an exclusive VIP experience.

Maybe you want to win a date night, or maybe a family day out with the little ones? The Smooth Cinema is a lovely day for everyone with a huge choice of films across July and August.

You can dance to films like Grease, Mamma Mia or Dirty Dancing, laugh to Four Weddings and a Funeral, Ghostbusters or Shrek and be mesmerized by the magic of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

There is something for everyone, so whether you're a family of film lovers, or you'd like to treat someone to a special night out, you can find a film for you!

We have 4 VIP prizes to give away. If you win you'll get a front row spot to a showing of your choice, and a selection of popcorn and soft drinks for your car too!

1. Enter by midnight on Tuesday 18th July to win tickets for the weekend of 21-23rd July (Clifton)
   
   
2. Enter by midnight on Tuesday 25th July to win tickets for the weekend of 4-6th August (Toton) [note, the 28-30th screening in Clifton has been cancelled]
   
   
3. Enter by midnight on Tuesday 1st August to win tickets for the weekend of 4-6th August (Toton)
   
   
4. Enter by midnight on Tuesday 8th August to win tickets for the weekend of 11-13th August (Toton)
   
   Winners will be drawn and contacted on the Wednesday of each week and their name passed on to Smooth Cinema. There, their tickets will await them at the gate, where they will be directed to their reserved spot and offered soft drinks and popcorn.

We're really sorry to report that The Smooth Cinema has had to be cancelled, this weekend and next, due to unforeseen circumstances. I have contacted our affected competition winners by email. Really hoping those messages are seen in time and this doesn't dampen your weekends too badly Next week's draw will not now take place.

Here's the statement from The Smooth Cinema website:

'Due to unforseen circumstances at the Toton Park & Ride site we have been forced to cancel all upcoming Smooth Cinema screenings and will be issuing a full refund for all tickets purchased as soon as possible.

We cannot express how important it is that you do not turn up to either the Toton or Clifton Park & Ride sites.

We would like to express just how sorry we are for any inconvenience caused, all tickets will be refunded as soon as possible, we expect all refunds to be processed within 10 working days
