Events? Where do they go?

Hi all,

I'm looking for your wisdom. I posted a couple events being held at a local community centre and I can't find them anywhere!

Does anyone know where they go? or how to find them? Do they have to be approved first?

Thank you all kindly, I'm new to Mumsnet, so any advice on getting the word out and keeping an eye on posts would be great.

Event details are here www.queenmarycentre.co.uk/boxoffice.html

Hello there - thank you for posting. No, listings do not need approval and we actively encourage local users to upload details of any events which may be of interest to Norfolk families.

We have recently redesigned our local sites and unfortunately there are few glitches in the new design which mean that occasionally listings go missing in cyber space! Our tech team are working hard to resolve this; we do apologize. Can you let us know what the events are so that we can ask MNHQ to make sure they are visible again?

Many thanks, MN Norfolk :)

Hi @HazelHowell

Sorry to hear you cannot find your events. Can you tell us whereabouts you placed the event (which category)? Can you also tell us whether the event was a one off or recurring?

Hi again @HazelHowell

We've found one listing but this is on Mumsnet Cambridgeshire, not Mumsnet Norfolk - is that right? Did you list this event on Mumsnet Norfolk as well?

www.mumsnet.com/local/cambridgeshire/events/all If you scroll down the events you should find yours for August.

Thank you!!! I thought it was on the Norfolk one as it popped up as my local. How strange!!

Thank you for coming to my rescue, they are both there :)

If you're close enough, pop along to our masquerade ball !!

I'll see if I can work out how to post an event on the Norfolk one :) x

Events? Where do they go?

I am unable to post any free events at my library on your site. How do I go about it?

Thank you,

Lily

Hello - I hope I am writing to the right bit but I also want to add some events and I cannot currently find the right bit. It might be me but I have looked everywhere. Would you let me know.
Thanks very much

Hey,

Chrome and Black are launching their first ever Graffiti School to enable others to share and learn the positive and creative aspects of the culture in it's purest form.

During this 3 hour experience pupils will learn step by step basics from the simple tag all the way through to a ‘master-piece’.

Chrome and Black Graff School is accompanied with an in depth visual presentation allowing pupils to learn about the history of the culture, who some of the most revered artists were and the techniques they used to create their art.

We welcome all ages and abilities.

The first session will be held on Saturday 21st April 2018 from 10am - 1pm!

Please book your ticket here!

How do I post events?? Always used to be able to (for Thame area). Now it's simply impossible to do it, and I've wasted half an hour of my life that I won't get back, looking for info on how do it! Thoroughly frustrated...
