Sainsburys Stopped Slicing Bread

Suddenly my local Sainsburys (Tunbridge Wells) stopped slicing bread for customers - no rational reason given except 'quality issues'. Very difficult for older people and means you cant have nicer loaves sliced. Staff unhelpful just citing directive from head office ! Tesco and Waitrose can do it why not Sainsburys !!

Hmmm maybe they failed a hygiene inspection or the slicer broke or something. Write or email and request it returns.

Sainsburys phoned me and told me there had been a 'misunderstanding' by the bakery manager - and bread slicing is now re-instated ! Good result.
