I am a child psychiatrist at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Clinic, wanting to learn more about the development of children. As part of my course I am seeking to observe a baby from shortly after birth to one year old.
The observation would involve visiting you and your baby at home, for an hour a week, for a year.
The purpose of understanding a baby observation as part of a Tavistock course is to help students learn about very early development and the baby’s growing relationships from the direct experience of observing.
Lots of mothers who have been involved in the observations have found the experience to be very rewarding and have enjoyed the space to think about their baby's journey and development each week.
If you think you might be interested or would like to find out more, Please feel free to contact me via email so we can discuss further. Thank you
