Hi
I moved to haywards Heath a year ago with my 2 sons and husband a year ago and was working full time. Year on I'm now a single mum and have had to give up work to be a full time mummy to my boys both with special needs. They are 11 and 12.
I can't believe I'm writing this post but here goes.
I feel a bills no mates. I have friends but know no one locally and there is only so much Netflix and real housewives a girl can take. Boys at school all day and when home spend most of the time being typical boys who think it's way too uncool to hang with mum!!!!
So I'm looking to see if there is any meet ups or ladies in similar situation to me to hang with, share frustrations and give me some adult company. (I still can't believe I'm writing this)
Also I wondered if there is any special needs clubs that my boys could attend. My eldest has physical disabilities and youngest high functioning ASD.

I would say I'm normal as normal can be lol

Thanks for reading my post, it's my first time posting so apologise if this is not correct etiquette

I'm near horsham and work, so I'm not much use to you, but happy to bump up your thread.

Is there something you enjoy doing? Could you get involved in local community stuff? Join some groups? Volunteer someplace when the kids are at school? I think the trick is to get out and do something.

What about other parents at the kids school, anyone there, or is it a little clique? Maybe the pta?
