It's been a while... Meet up?

Hi! I'm up for another meet up! I've probably name changed since last time - I'm the one who moved here 2.5 years ago, am a teacher and had to get back in a hurry for my new puppy at the first meet-up, if that helps!

I was thinking maybe Sizergh Castle one weekend? Coffee in the cafe then a walk round the nature trail bit with any kids (or overgrown puppies) that are with us?

No they don't- you're not being dense . Whereabouts are you? Did you come to the last meet-up. It was aaages ago and I can't remember who was who (plus I've name-changed since then, and so might everyone else have!).

Actually no, have lived here for about ten years. But just feel like meeting some new people - people from somewhere other than my village! Where have you moved from? Are DC in the village school?

We moved from Oxfordshire (this is the first time I've lived further north than that!). Ds goes to the village school, as did dd until she started secondary school in September. We're both teachers.

Hello. I'm gatecrashing your thread. Anyone in Keswick? Moving with boys; 3,5 and 7 in the new year. Totally up for meeting new people and seeing the area (know Cumbria pretty well after many years of staying with family) but living in Keswick while different ball game!

Hi there. I am a bit late to the party! I have moved to Kendal and would really appreciate getting to know a few people so would defo be up for a meet up. My two dc still at home are 14 and 17 so not much chance of meeting Mums at the school gate.
Am also new to mumsnet- do I have to keep checking in? No app/alerts etc?
