Health club advice

Hello all
I am relocating to Edinburgh (the Grange) in the summer.
I am looking for a health club to join. It is my one big indulgence so I am looking for something lovely with lots of classes, swimming pool, ideally stuff for children, perhaps tennis courts.
David Lloyd ticks all the boxes but both clubs are the wrong side of town. The closer to the Grange the better.
TIA for any suggestions

Yu'll not find anything private close to the Grange that gives you all you're after I'm afraid. There are smaller clubs, but no pool. You'd be better joining Edinburgh leisure and taking advantage of being just down the road from The Royal Commonwealth Pool. They have great facilities, lots of classes for adults and kids, great holiday clubs etc. No tennis courts, but if you were a member of EL, you could use the tennis facilities at EL's Craiglockhart base, which is not far from the Grange. There are lots of EL facilities across the city which you could take advantage of if you became a member.

There is a new gym opening in Cameron Toll (shopping centre, 5 mins from Grange) which is a shopping centre. It'll be like Pure Gym, so no pool and limited facilities.

I'm often surprised that there isn't a smart & private club on the south side of town as there is prob the money and demand for it. But honestly, EL is pretty good so perhaps people are happy with that?
