Does anyone have a property to rent?

Hello. I'm new to the site and shortly going to be new to Bath too as we're relocating at the end of Feb.

We're buying in Batheaston where the kids will go to school and we need a rental property for at least 6-8 months while the sale goes through and then builders go in.

Does anyone know of a house or flat coming up for rent near Batheaston in the next month? Doesn't have to be very near just preferably not the other side of town. We'd be happy with 2/3 bedrooms with a garden for a family of four (dd is 8, ds is 5) and our two (obviously very well behaved) moggies. Our budget is ideally £1000 pcm but could stretch a little bit if we had to.

Thanks very much for your help. And apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong area - if so could you point me in the right direction?

There's another local site called StreetLife which has an older membership than here - probably more likely to know about 'spare' property!

Thanks ItsaHillyHill I'll give it a shot. I was just asking in case anyone knows a landlord who rents privately without using agents. We're finding a lot of resistance to the fact that we have cats and only want to rent for a shortish time. We'll keep looking tho thanks.

Hi there

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do with my teenagerish kids (just) aged 11 and 13 in the summer? I work full time and as a single parent it can be a bit tricky in the school hols. Moving to Bath this summer so was hoping there might be some kind of camp or way to help my kids integrate and make new friends over the summer months? Hugely grateful for any suggestions. Thanks sooo much ladies! :-)

These people run two camps in Bath and include teenagers www.supercamps.co.uk, as does this school www.monktoncombeschool.com/hospitality-leisure/leisure/holiday-activity-camps.html.

There are loads of sports camps, acting camps etc.

Relocating to Bath with my 6 year old daughter who will be going to school at St Marys Weston from September. Looking for a double room to rent for 3/4 months whilst purchasing a property. Does anyone know of any one renting a room? Many thanks
