Spanish mum just moved to Colchester!

My husband, my 14 month old son and I have just moved to Colchester. We are from Spain, but last year we were living in London. I don't know anyone in Colchester, so I'm really interested in meeting some local mums to advice on the area, activities and making new friends for myself and my family.
Any help will be very appreciated.
