Raymond Briggs - who created The Snowman, Snowdog and Father Christmas - has brought us a new story this Christmas: The Bear.

And we've got a family ticket to give away!

Ever wondered what it would be like to sit on a polar bear's lap? Or ride on its back? Have you ever tried to give a bear a bath? Or clear up its poo?! Looking after a bear is exhausting stuff.

One night when she's fast asleep, an enormous snowy white bear climbs into Tilly's bedroom. It has a big black tongue and a yawn as big as your head. But Tilly's not scared.

The Bear is a heart-warming and humorous wintry tale from the team that brought you the hugely successful 'Father Christmas'. Pins and Needles are delighted to be bringing to life another of Raymond Briggs' much-loved storybooks.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) on December 10th at 10am, enter by answering the question below.

What was the best present you ever received as a child?

Mumsnet Terms and Conditions apply. All entries must be in by November 25th at midday.

A dolls house which was made by my Grandad and decorated with wallpaper and carpet samples by my mum. Amazing.

Mr Frosty. I wanted one, like, forever, but Santa never delivered... Then my amazing 20-year-old sister finally bought me one when I was 14!

My favourite toy as a child was a house for the figures Pin y Pon (playmobil type but for younger children) It was fantastic with multi-functional, rotating rooms and other gadgets. A memorable Christmas present from my lovely aunt Katie! I still have it and waiting to pass it on to my daughter! Smile

A Wendy house when I was 3 or 4. It was in the living room when I came in on Christmas Day and I don't think I even knew they existed so it was a magical surprise. A little mini house just for me!

One Christmas my family received a food parcel with christmas treats This was the best ever gift I have ever received as it made me believe in Santa, he answered my letter. My family were struggling I was only 8 but I had written to the mall santa and told him all about my family and how we got robbed our presents electrical items all stolen. My family were struggling to make christmas magical for us. For years I believed Santa was real even when others stopped. Christmas morning I also woke up and got what I had really wanted a doll but didnt tell anyone. Christmas magic x

I was most impressed by a manicure set, which I treasured for years: it made me feel really grown-up and inspired me to stop biting my nails.

Without a doubt it was my first violin passed down from my great uncle. Second best present? My parents' patience during those first few years of learning. (I did go on go get a music degree!)
