Bringing "The Little Gym" to Manchester!

The Little Gym ( has been around for 40 years providing exceptional non-competitive gymnastic and sports programmes to children aged from 6 months to 11 years. The franchise is looking to set up its first gym in the North West in an existing high quality modern building with ample parking and onsite facilities for parents. The potential site is located just outside Heald Green (South Manchester M22) which should make it easily accessible for many of the South Manchester towns and villages.

The owners are seeking feedback on this location so we are asking you a simple question; what are your views about Heald Green as a location for a Little Gym; is this a known area and easily accessible or is it a bit out of the way, undesirable or difficult to get to due to traffic, etc
Please do let me know your feedback!
Many thanks

I know this was posted ages ago but thought I'd chip in anyway.

Heald Green is not a distance I would travel to for a class from Trafford. Traffic and travel time would the the main reasons. I'm sure there are plenty of families in the Cheadle area that this would be more relevant for.

Agree - I'm in Trafford. My DH used to work in Heald Green

I have 3 DCs , aged 3 and under. The 3 year old is at pre-school, 5 days a week between 12:30 - 3:30. I woukd not chance going to HG as traffic can be a nightmare and the journey necessitates 2 motorways an I know I'd be late for pick ups and drop offs fairly regularly.

Agree that cheadle etc us a better market.
