Currently researching for a friend! Cross posted in property too.

Will be working in Ollerton and as easy a commute as poss. Also wants to be near a train line or other public transport.

Wants 3 bed house, pref with larger garden/outdoor space. 2 children currently year 1 and 3.

Any places to recommend as a start for a search, or avoid? Thanks.

hello, I have the same question. we are a family of five we might be moving to Newark from Birmingham.

I have many concerns regard school and life in general there !! I hope someone will help us Smile.

we visited newark last week, there are few new houses there, very good prices compering to the houses here in Birmingham. I hope you like them.

good luck and please keep me posted if you have any new information Smile

We moved to Ollerton six months ago. What's your budget? Avoid Ollerton Primary school, it's beyond awful, but other great alternatives including Forest View.

Hello GinnyMcginface,

I am very new to mum's net didn't know how to follow a post :). thank you very much for your reply.

I have three girls, currently are in Y4, Y2 and Y1. we are in the process of buying a house in wellow road, ollerton. I called many of the local schools, they only have places for two of my kids. only one school had place for three of them called St Joseph's Catholic.

I have read the school reports I haven't visited the school yet.

what do you advice ? Please I desperately need help in finding decent school for my girls. do you have any idea about this school? if not what do you recommend. from your experience how did you find ollerton ?

I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
