Moved from Bristol to Southampton

OK. 1st - I am not a mum, but I don't care - I just want to make some friends.

I moved to Southampton the end of October, and my husband works, I am a student still studying in Bristol, so I am alone during the day.
I commute once a week to Bristol, and do my studying at home the rest of the week.
But I am getting lonely. I want to meet up with people, make some friends and find people with the same interests and hobbies as me.

I hope I can get some help and advice on this site, meet some new friends, and enjoy my life down south.
