Can anyone help, my son appears to have gone undiagnosed as possible aspergers or PDD and as an adult now the resources are not out there.
As a family due to domestic abuse we have all been having counselling which has bought this all to a head. The counsellor's time is coming to an end yet she feels he needs someone who would chat to him, relate to him? encourage him to leave the house, cinema.............a guess a friend who understands how he feels etc.
Does anyone know of another young man or lady who could help with this atall as i am at my whits end xx
have you looked on the national autistic society website or for local autism charities? some have support groups and befrienders who will work with people like your son.
Contact Autism Bedfordshire, they might be able to help you. Best of luck.
