Recommendations for Cranial Osteopaths in Norwich?

My mum has returned from 10yrs in the USA. Through breast cancer, she has had a partial mastectomy and radiotherapy and something in the US they call chemo-lite. She's 5 years clear now (thankfully) , back in the UK but is suffering from hip and knee pain. I would love recommendations of serious well qualified Osteopaths and cranial osteopaths. She is concerned that her pain is a mastetisation (sp?) of her cancer (she has been told that it is possible and would be terminal) but she seems unable to get her new NHS doc to take her seriously and refer her immediately. I don't think it's the NHS fault btw but would love to find someone to ease her pains at least while she waits for the GP to refer her. Ideally I'm really looking for someone who has worked around serious illness and who is qualified and recommended to the hilt.

Thank you. Very much.

Hi,

I have just come across your message. I'm aware that you posted it a few months ago but I just wanted to let you know that I am a qualified registered osteopath practicing both structural and cranial osteopathy near Dereham. I also have 20 years experience as a cancer nurse and have held clinical nurse specialist posts in both acute oncology and macmillan palliative care. I would be more than happy to talk to you to see if I can help and to explain what I can offer. You can visit my website for more information //www.northnorfolkosteopaths.com.

Lisa Richter. 19 Christ Church Road Norwich. 01603 456046
The business is called Norwich Osteopaths and they have a detailed website.
I have been to Laurent many times, and he is highly recommended. Lisa is very well respected too.

Hope this helps
Katie

I used the St Stephens Practice, near the city centre, with dd1, a long time ago, there were 2 cranial osteopaths there irrc. They were excellent and had links with Great Ormond St, I think.
