Nurseries near Bromley South: Asquith, Les Enfants, Other recommendations?

Hi,

I am looking for a nursery for my 3 year old son for September. He's been attending a Montessori nursery since he was 7 months old 4 days a week. He's very sociable, loves his books and sports. I'm sure he will adapt everywhere but as always you want the best.

Do you have any experience with Asquith, Les Enfants or any other nursery you could recommend which is open everyday and all year round (more or less)?

Many Thanks,
Smile

I am not quite in that area but don't want your post to go unanswered. I used the Asquith in Crofton for 18 months one day a week but it was a long time ago. The staff were good and our DD was happy there. Bromley Gossip on FB may be helpful if you don't get any other replies.

Little learners on Havelock Road is great. Know loads of people who use it, no complaints from anyone.

We have just signed DD up to Little Learners. She is 2.5 and starts in September. We went for a visit a couple of weeks ago and it seemed lovely. They are happy to show people round if you call to arrange it. It is quite big but the children are split in to 3 separate groups. Staff seemed great and the children were all very chatty and made a fuss of DD when we were looking round.

We use a mixture of pre-school and CM. But I second Little Learners. I know people are very happy with it. Another one is Lemongrove - a bit further from the station but I have heard good things. There is another one near St Mark's church but I don't know how good or not it is.

Thanks PricklyPickle and Patry! I actually met today a mum who's boy spent 2 years at Little Learners and was very pleased with his time there!
I'm calling them on Monday Smile

Bromley day nursery (asquith) is brilliant. My daughter started a few weeks ago and the staff are so friendly. It's near Bromley north station.
Also lemon Grove is really good. Heard very good reviews and really liked it when I viewed it but was oversubscribed and had a waiting list. That one is by Bromley College. Not sure on post codes

I think fennies and les enfants might come under BR1.i did view both nurseries but unfortunately I haven't heard any reviews about the last 2

Thank you for responding. I heard good reviews on Asquith but it's a long waiting list, no spaces available. I will look at the others thank you.Smile

Update: we decided for les enfants as it seemed a much more "fun" environment and the garden is fabulous. I found that asquiths was too much of a prep school for my liking. And the result is a very happy child, so excited to go every morning and he's already bonded with the staff. Good luck for your search.
