May is just around the corner and so is the next Stockport MSLC Meeting. The 'Hot Topic' for May is 'Breastfeeding, with focus on tongue tie diagnosis, treatment and latching support'. Our guest speaker will be Sarah Mckie Breast feeding Specialist midwife/Ward Manager/Supervisor of Midwives.
Do women receive the support they need during the early days of breastfeeding? We would really like to hear about your experiences - both positive and negative - and your suggestions for improving breastfeeding services in your area.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 6 May from 7.15-8.45pm in the Education Room in the Women's Unit (ground floor). All welcome. We will also cover agenda items unrelated to the Hot Topic during the meeting.
