Just wondered if anyone else has a child starting reception at Holy Trinity this September? We don't know many people who've been offered this primary near us.

Yes we have a daughter starting in reception, she is our third child so we are already very familiar with the school. If you have any questions please let me know. We live in East Sheen.

Thanks Helenrpea - we live near Manor Circus - so just a bit concerned about crossing a level crossing on foot each day - do you know many families doing this? Only other question was about the recent Richmond league tables - the school seems to be quite low in the second half (but I know nothing about league tables!) and just wondered why. We visited last year and it seemed to be a really lovely environment so hoping we've made the right choice! Great to know you'll have three kids there so presumably they enjoy it!

hello new2kew. We arrive at school from a different direction but I believe there are lots and lots of families crossing at the level crossing as it is so close to the school. in terms of the league tables, I can only go my experience of the school which is positive, Our children are doing well and are happy. The head is very approachable and I'm sure would be happy to discuss with you any concerns you had about this, perhaps you could send her an email?

I have lots of friends who have kids there (we are also close to Manor Circus). The level crossing is fine - there is a bridge if you are concerned about safety. I would not worry about league tables - what matters is whether your child will be supported to do well and I don't think you need have concerns on that score. Everyone I know with a child at the school likes it.

Thanks so much Helenrpea it is great to know your kids are happy there and thanks also for the advice AbsintheandChips - choosing schools is all a bit new to me so I wasn't sure if league tables were an indicator (I thought not but wanted to be sure!).

I know this is a slightly out of date thread but I wondered how your children are doing at HT. I would love to hear some current views. The school website seems a little outdated, do the children go on many school trips etc/out of classroom activities etc? I recently went on a tour of the school and it seemed very friendly and welcoming, more so than larger schools.
