Hi.We are looking to buy a house in Hitchin. We are looking to live walking distance to the station but it looks like the kind of house we want would be just a bit too far from the station to walk. Is it easy to catch local buses to the station? What are the local buses like? Are they regular/frequent? I'm mainly thinking of the more northern parts of Hitchin. Cambridge Road seems to have a lot of traffic. Is it possible to jump on a bus and be at the station in 10 minutes down Cambridge Road? What about traffic in general? We need to buy within the next month in order to plan our move in time for work etc and a bit panicky that we won't find something within walking distance. Thanks everyone.
